the world is ending, and no one gives a shit

a day passes

two, three, a week, months

and everyone is going about

in a non existent fantasy

entire species of living beings vanish

like a warm breath in cold air

millimeter by millimeter

the waters rise

and displacement keep happening

every day

we all lie to each other

use each other

and speak about meaningless things

every day

my connections

to the human existence

​fades

for the love that was given

to us by the universe

the love we had for each other

slowly rots

and decays

I can no longer smile

just accept

it is

too late

all hope

is gone

just

let

it
